I’d like to see information on trails for ATV riding. Thank you.

Thanks much, Tamie. You’re right; we don’t have a lot on the subject here, but the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources has a lot of info about public trails open to ATVs (all-terrain vehicles) or OHVs (off-highway vehicles) here:

Other visitors to this web site are welcome to offer suggestions here as well.

I sure miss the old Explore Minnesota quarterly magazine. I would find some place to visit nearly every weekend in the calendar of events. My exploring has become nearly non-existent.

    Larry,

Perhaps you’re thinking of the Minnesota Explorer travel newspaper. It comes out three times a year, and includes a seasonal calendar of events. You can order it here:

You can also search for upcoming events on our web site here:

Or do a simple search for upcoming events in or near a particular city here:

I gotta go do some pike fishing. I am a bigtime salmon fisherman and I understand the Northern Pike are awesome sport fish. Thanks for the info.

why are you sending out a fishing report from January 23rd - when the actual date is April 10th!! If you don’t have a current report I would rather have none at all than one that is over 2 months old!

    Chuck,

We apologize for the inconvenience you experienced in receiving duplicate e-newsletters from Explore Minnesota Tourism recently. We made some edits to incorrect formatting on those reports. In doing so our software, Feedburner, resent these edited newsletters. In the future we will be more careful about editing and resending previous versions of newsletters.

    Thank you for your patience.
