This is the Explore Minnesota Winter Trails Report as of Thursday, March 26, with information provided courtesy of the Department of Natural Resources and community organizations throughout the state. This will be the final Winter Trails Report of the 2008/2009 winter season.

Recent warm temperatures have caused most Minnesota ski and snowmobile trails to deteriorate. While as much as two feet of snow remains in the far northeast, an ice storm earlier this week left area trails icy and covered with debris, and grooming has ceased for the season.
