Explore Minnesota Tourism recently launched its largest promotion ever – the “Summer of Fun Giveaway.”
Explore Minnesota Tourism has partnered with Luther Auto Group, Arctic Cat, Erik’s Bike Shop, Golf Galaxy and a variety of well-known tourism industry attractions and destinations to award weekly prizes. The grand prize of a two-year lease on a 2008 Toyota Prius, courtesy of Luther Auto Group, will be awarded on July 2.

The Summer of Fun Giveaway runs from April 7 through June 30, 2008. To enter, go to www.exploreminnesota.com/giveaway.asp, or stop by any participating Luther Auto Group or Golf Galaxy store. See official rules, terms and conditions.
Future seasonal promotions are also being planned. The “Autumn of Fun” is scheduled for August and September with a grand prize of a Ford Escape Hybrid. The winter promotion will be held January and February 2009.

Explore Minnesota will feature the best of Minnesota in a new informercial to air this Spring. The program consists of video clips from the My Favorite Minnesota section of www.ExploreMinnesota.com. My Favorite Minnesota is a special area of our Web site where travelers have created personalized lists of their favorite things to do and places to go in Minnesota.

Explore Minnesota Partners with the Minnesota Lottery & Fox Sports for the Hook, Lund & Sinker Sweepstakes
The Minnesota Lottery, Explore Minnesota and Fox Sports Network North are partnering for the "Hook, Lund & Sinker" promotion beginning April 21. TV ads on FSN North direct viewers in Minnesota and western Wisconsin to www.LuckyMN.com for a chance to win one of five fishing vacations. Timbertrail Lodge & Outfitters, Whaley's Resort & Campground, Visit Duluth's charter fishing, Sportsman's Lodge-Lake of the Woods and Nelson's Resort provided the prizes. The Minnesota Lottery is offering $1,000 in "Hook Lund and Sinker" scratch tickets prizes each week.
On May 3, the Minnesota Lottery will host a Mall of America Fishing Event featuring pro-fishermen, media personalities and Explore Minnesota’s own Curt Johnson. The Explore Minnesota fishing guide and travel information will be available. |
