Comment on Minnesota Celebrates 150 Years of Statehood by Scott Strohkirch
I was born in St. Paul, MN in 1961. Graduated from Rosemount High School in 1980 and am now going into my third year of Seminary with the LC-MS. Minnesota will always be my home state as will its Sports teams be the ones I root for wherever I go. Happy 150th Minnesota!
Comment on Explore Minnesota Birding Report: May 9 by Susan Hegarty
On Saturday, May 3, two Great Horned Owls were spotted nesting on tree branches in the northeastern-most sector of the Caponi Art Park in Eagan. The large owls were at the end of a row of tall pine trees, just north of the hiking trail. To view these birds, park on the south side of Diffley Road and walk under the road through the tunnel and follow the trail at the far end of the property, beyond and to the right of the open space. Park is open Tuesday through Sunday, 9 a.m. to dusk.

Hi Gloria,
thank you for taking the time to inform us of your bird sighting–that must have been a beautiful sight. I will relay your information to our contact at the Minnesota Ornithologists’ Union, and will let you know if we need further information so we can include this in a future birding report.
Thanks again!
Chris

My favorite is the Thumper Golf Resort! The place isn’t too packed and it doesn’t take 8 hours to play. I’d say my second favorite is Ruttgers. Great post by the way, keep it up!

why are you sending out a fishing report from January 23rd - when the actual date is April 10th!! If you don’t have a current report I would rather have none at all than one that is over 2 months old!
